Travis Barker’s Eldest Son Talks About His ‘Very, Very Minor’ Tourette Syndrome on TikTok

On the 4th of March, 2024, Landon Barker, Travis Barker’s eldest son uploaded a rather unexpected video on TikTok. In the video, he speaks out about his ‘very,  very minor’ Tourette syndrome.

“Hi guys, I figured I’d speak on this eventually. But yeah, I actually have very, very, minor Tourettes,” he candidly shared. “I’ve had it since I can remember like preschool. I remember exactly because a teacher used to accuse me of rolling my eyes at her,” he continued.

Within the video, he is seen demonstrating his tics with his eyes, jaws, and head movement. London clarified that the tics are mostly common when he is exposed to a nervous situation or nerve-racking environment.

The update on Landon Barker comes weeks after he disclosed his unfortunate breakup with Charli D’Amelio. He and the social media star have been dating for about a year.

Landon Barker had shared details about his failed relationship on his Instagram stories. “Hey everyone, I would like to let you know that Charli and I are no longer together. We broke up to focus on ourselves. We are still friends and have so much love for each other,” he’s Instagram stories post read.

On the same Instagram stories upload, he asked everyone to respect his and Charli’s decision. “I am incredibly grateful for the time we shared and hope you can respect our decisions. Thank you, love you all so much!” Landon completed his Instagram stories post.

Even though the original video might have been taken down, some people have reposted it. And it did get a lot of attention with some people leaving positive comments.

So, What Did People Have to Say About the News?

The comment section was mostly filled with praises from people who felt Landon’s courage to talk about his situation really encouraged many with Tourette syndrome to express themselves boldly.

One outstanding comment read, “I’ve had Tourette’s almost my whole life. It can be exhausting and painful at times. It is really admirable to hear you openly say it.”

Then, another touching comment read, “You are helping others by speaking out. We don’t feel alone.”

Landon now joins the list of celebrities who’ve openly spoken about their Tourette syndrome and how it affects their lives. Some of the celebrities include McKenzie Westmore, Lewis Capaldi, and Billie Eilish.
